Separation, an original charcoal drawing by Adam Gabriel Winnie, is now available as a limited edition fine art print.
This print dimensions are 15" x 30". It's matted on antique white, acid free, archival matboard and hinge mounted on 3/16" acid free foam core. The final dimensions after matting are 24" x 36". Matting is included free!
The artwork is printed on Fine Art Velvet paper which is 100% cotton and acid free. Canon archival large format ink jet printers are used to print directly onto the Fine Art Velvet paper. Fine art velvet prints are less resistant to scratching and damage than traditional photographic prints and should be handled and displayed with care.
The work comes signed and number in an edition of 50. That means that only 50 of these will ever be printed.
About Separation: The original drawing, is a life size figurative work which focuses on my feelings of loss when confronted with a life changing injury. Although my body is still whole, the chronic pain I deal with on a daily basis is a restrictive component to my studio work as an full time artist. The struggles I face have been translated into this hyper real self portrait. The separation is that from my former self and my former abilities.
